Welcome to Jackson Hall, one of the oldest and most beloved residence halls at Emmanuel University. Known for its unique community-style living, Jackson Hall features shared bathrooms and a variety of room sizes to accommodate up to 99 students. Each room is furnished with essential amenities, including a twin-size bed, desk, chair, bookshelf, and wardrobe. The hall is equipped with central heating and air, managed by Residence Life staff. Jackson Hall stands out for its vibrant community atmosphere, enhanced by its large main lobby and additional lobbies, such as the "Max Lobby" with a full kitchen and the "Purple Lobby" for study sessions. Each hall has a community bathroom/shower area with 6 stalls, 4 sinks, and 4 private showers.

Occupancy

Maximum of 99 beds (Approximately 25 per hall)

Bed dimensions

Each bed fits a standard twin mattress and is height adjustable to approximately 4ft.

Amenities/furniture included

Each resident receives a twin-size bed, desk and chair, bookshelf, wardrobe/dresser. Several rooms may include a nightstand; however, these are limited. Central laundry area is located on the ground floor of the hall.

Heating & air

Central heating and air. The temperature in each hall is controlled by Residence Life and Housing staff.

Enjoy Community Living

Being one of the oldest buildings on campus, Jackson Hall has unique qualities that many students love! The community atmosphere in Jackson is second to none made possible in part by the lobbies listed below.

The large main lobby is located at the center of the building and is the location where many community events are held. The “Max Lobby” includes a full kitchen area that is available for students to use upon request located downstairs. The "Purple Lobby"/study room holds a conference table for group work and four private study stations.
