Drum Hall

Welcome to Drum Hall, a community-style residence hall at Emmanuel University designed to create a close-knit community among students. Drum Hall accommodates up to 72 students, with each floor featuring shared bathroom facilities and unique mini-lobbies for relaxation and entertainment. Every room is furnished with essential amenities, including a twin-size bed, desk, chair, and wardrobe, and is equipped with individual wall units for personalized heating and air conditioning. The central lobby on the first floor serves as a hub for community events, while the fully equipped community kitchen offers students the convenience of preparing their own meals. Drum Hall is the perfect place for fostering lasting friendships and enjoying a vibrant community life.

Each hall has a community bathroom/shower area with 6 stalls, 4 sinks, and 4 covered showers.

Occupancy

Maximum of 72 beds (Approximately 24 per hall)

Bed dimensions

Each bed fits a standard twin mattress and is height adjustable to approximately 4ft. Twin XL beds may be available upon request (depending on inventory availability).

Amenities/furniture included

Each resident receives a twin-size bed, desk and chair, and large wardrobe/dresser set for personal use. Central laundry area is located on the first floor of the hall.

Heating & air

Each room contains individual wall units that can be controlled from the room to the students’ liking.

Enjoy Community Living

Drum Hall’s distinctive community style set-up lends itself to close camaraderie and tight-knit friendships! The large main lobby is located at the center of the building on the first floor and is a primary location where many Drum Hall community-building events are hosted by RAs and other community members.

Unique only to Drum Hall are the mini-lobbies located on each floor. The mini lobbies contain furniture and chairs for different functions. 2nd & 3rd floor mini lobbies provide entertainment spaces (TV, couches, & chairs)

Drum has a full community kitchen area where students can cook in an oven or on stovetop, buy snacks from third party vending machines, wash dishes, and make use of community refrigerator and freezer space.
