Emmanuel University Diversified Agriculture Department

The Agriculture Department is thrilled that you are considering Emmanuel University for your post-secondary education. This is an exciting time for Emmanuel University as we begin a new program for those interested in Agriculture. The Diversified Agriculture Degree will offer students the opportunity to explore, gain hands-on experiences and develop into agriculture leaders and contributors to the number one industry in Georgia- Agriculture. With over 60,000 jobs available to college graduates each year in the Agriculture industry, this is a great time to begin a career in Agriculture. Students can choose from one of three concentration areas; Agricultural Business, Agricultural Science and Agricultural Missions. Each concentration will provide graduates with the skill set to enter the job market with confidence. Those in the business concentration can become active employees in agriculture banking, insurance, sales or marketing. If you are interested in working in the livestock or plant industry at any level the agricultural science concentration will provide you with the foundation. Agricultural missions prepare students with the technical and hands-on experience it takes to travel around the world training and supporting people while sharing their faith. Emmanuel University is one of the few universities in the United States to offer this unique degree. Our Teaching and Learning Center on campus has numerous opportunities for students to gain experience in greenhouse operation, aquaculture and aquaponics, livestock and poultry management and crop production. Every graduate will complete an agriculture internship, research project, and agriculture service. Our goal is that our students will have the hands-on knowledge of agriculture production to supplement an outstanding academic program.
