What is Student Advocacy?

The Student Development Advocate (SDA) provides services that are intended to enhance student’s abilities in the areas of:

    • self-advocacy
    • self- leadership
    • career planning
    • campus engagement
    • academic competencies
    • social competencies

Under the College’s Sexual Misconduct Policies, the SDA is identified as a confidential resource for those individuals who wish to discuss issues involving allegations of sexual misconduct and serves as the advisor for the Mental Health Awareness Club.
