You’ll sit in on classes related to your major, connect with professors and faculty, and experience chapel alongside our students. It’s the perfect way to picture yourself at Emmanuel! Plus, you’ll receive an excused absence from school to attend. Bring your parents and friends and get ready for an unforgettable day on campus!
Experience Day at Emmanuel University: Schedule
| 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM | Check-In & Welcome Breakfast | Pick up folders, name tags, and event materials. Light breakfast provided. |
| 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM | Opening Session | Welcome from Admissions. Overview of the day. |
| 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM | Chapel Service | Experience chapel at Emmanuel and possibly acknowledge them while there. |
| 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Campus Tour | |
| 12:00 PM – 12:45 PM | Lunch in the Cafeteria | Eat alongside current students. Get a feel for campus life. |
| 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM | Class room sit in | Will sit in on various classes depending on their major/interest. |
| 1:45 PM – 2:45 PM | Overview of Admissions/ Hear from the President/ Financial Aid Session | Learn about applying, scholarships, and how to make Emmanuel affordable. Emmanuel Mission. |

Directions from Atlanta, GA
• Take I-85 North (toward Greenville, SC) to Exit 160 (GA 51) which is about the 159 mile marker on I-85.
• Turn right on GA 51 and go approximately 11 miles (you will cross over GA 106).
• Continue on GA 51 until you intersect with GA 145 (Gas Station will be directly in front of you).
• Turn right and go approximately 1/2 mile.
• Turn left on US 29 which will take you directly to the college (approx. 1/4 mile).
Directions from Greenville, SC
• Take I-85 South to Georgia Exit 173, Lavonia.
• Take Hwy 17 South to Royston (approximately 12 miles)
• Turn right on Hwy 29 South; go approximately two miles to arrive at Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs.
From Athens (about 40 miles):
• Take Hwy 29N towards Danielsville/Royston.
• Pass through Danielsville.
• Enter Franklin Springs; Emmanuel University is on the right.
From Anderson (about 45 miles):
• Hwy 29S towards Hartwell/Royston.
• Pass through Harwell and Royston.
• Enter Franklin Springs; Emmanuel University is on the left.
