Scope

ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including FERPA and HIPAA where applicable.
Audience
This policy is intended for all Emmanuel University employees, students, and external contractors who
handle, have access to, or manage sensitive and confidential data associated with the university.
Data Collection and Use
Emmanuel University collects personal data for educational, administrative, and research purposes. Data
collected must be relevant, not excessive, and used exclusively for its intended purpose. Unauthorized use of
data is strictly prohibited.
Data Storage
All data must be stored securely using encryption and other security measures. Access to data storage is
limited to authorized personnel and must be tracked and monitored using access logs.
Data Sharing and Disclosure

Data Breach Protocol
