Graduate Program Coordinator, Assistant Professor
Becca grew up in Forsyth County, GA and graduated from Truett McConnell University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, earning the Academic Achievement Award in STEM. She then moved to NC for two years, working at Onslow Memorial Hospital in inpatient and interning in outpatient rehabilitation while pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Human Performance from Liberty University. Becca graduated from Liberty as a Graduate with High Distinction in the Spring of 2022. She moved back to GA that Summer, working at Northside Forsyth Hospital in inpatient rehabilitation. Becca felt the led out of the rehabilitation workforce in 2023 to pursue her passion in holistic wellness at Restore Hyper Wellness as Business Liaison and then Regional Manager, training and educating employees in business processes and the science behind their therapies. In late 2024 she began teaching at Emmanuel University as an Adjunct Kinesiology Professor in the graduate program. Shortly thereafter, she followed the Lord’s call to join faculty in the full-time role as Graduate Program Coordinator and Assistant Professor of Kinesiology. Becca will also be teaching undergraduate courses in the Kinesiology
department.
Becca’s life verse is Philippians 4:8-9, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of respect, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if something is excellent or praiseworthy, think about these things. And what you learned and received and heard and saw in me, do these things. And the God of peace will be with you.”
Her life’s pursuit is to love God, love others, and alleviate aloneness. Becca and her husband, Colin, enjoy frequent trips to national parks, hiking, indoor rock climbing, philosophy, reading, and attending the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. They have been married since November 12th, 2023 and are homeowners in Loganville, GA. They are active members at Snellville Community Church.
