With 23 years of experience in the field of education, Tammy Sellers currently serves as the assistant Head of School at Citizens Christian Academy. Prior to accepting the position at CCA, Tammy served the parents, students, and staff of Irwin County in the capacities of RTI coordinator, Special Education, MTSS, and Gifted Director at the Irwin County Board of Education. While in the classroom, Tammy served in a variety of capacities including Elementary education, ESL, Gifted (K-8), and Middle Grades Science.
Tammy holds a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University, M.Ed in Early Childhood Education, as well as an Ed.S from Cambridge College in Educational Leadership. Tammy is married to her husband, Steve and has one daughter. She enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, and adventures.
