Associate VP for Campus Life

Dr. Kirk McConnell graduated from Emmanuel College in 1998 with a B.A. in Psychology.  After graduation he attended Georgia State and Psychological Studies Institute where he received his M.A. in Professional Counseling with a certificate in Christian Counseling. Kirk served at Emmanuel College from the Summer of 2000- the Summer of 2006. In the Fall of 2006 Kirk left EC for a role in fulltime ministry where he served for almost 11 years.  In the fall of 2017, Kirk returned to Emmanuel to serve in the athletic department as the Director of Academic Success.  During that time, he finished his Ed.D. in Educational Leadership. Most recently, KMAC, as the students call him, has transitioned to the Student Life division where he is serving as the Associate VP of Campus Life. Kmac’s Dr. singular goal is for students to engage the Emmanuel Experience and deepen their faith journey.
