Adjunct Professor of Kinesiology

Zachary is a graduate of the University of North Georgia, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a teacher’s certification, as well as a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology with an Exercise Science emphasis. He is currently working to obtain his Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Kinesiology from Concordia University St. Paul. Zachary is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). The fall 2022 semester marks his first-time teaching adjunct courses for the Kinesiology department at Emmanuel University, and he is excited for the experience.

Zachary is an educator by career, teaching in the special education department at Stephens County Middle School where he has been for the past three years. He is also involved in athletic programs there, coaching girls’ volleyball, and tennis. In his free time, you can find him with his fiancée, Abbie, spending time with his friends and family, practicing/teaching karate, and enjoying the outdoors.  

Zachary is Southern Baptist and is an active member at Liberty Hill Church in Eastanollee, GA. He also attends a Bible study small group with the college class of First Baptist in Toccoa, GA.
