Emmanuel Online Begins Fall Semester

We are thrilled to announce that the first Emmanuel Online cohort began classes on August 31. 

Programs include Business Administration, Christian Ministries, and Criminal Justice. 

Students in our online programs will enroll in a typical Fall, Spring, and Summer semester. Traditional programs are set up for students to take multiple classes at the same time over a period of about 16 weeks. However, in our online program instead of being in 4 or more classes simultaneously you will be in 1 or 2 classes at a time and each one will last only 8 weeks.

Each semester will be comprised of 2, 8-week modules. You will take 2 courses each module, for a total of 4 per semester. So, your fall semester, for example, is still 16 weeks but your coursework is broken up into more manageable, shorter sessions so that you can complete them at your own pace from the comfort of your home.

Emmanuel Online Christian Ministries student, Benjamin Wham is eager to finish what he started, where he started.

“It is very humbling to take part in the launch of the EC online program,” he said. “I first enrolled at EC in the fall of 1994. Twenty-six years, later I can finish what I started where I started without having to relocate my family. It was at Emmanuel College where I was filled with the Holy Spirit. During my time as a student I realized God’s call to ministry on my life. God ordered my steps through Emmanuel. I met my wife through relationships I formed at EC. I am the lead pastor at the Refuge Church, Murrells Inlet campus. The relationships and connections I formed at EC played a major part in helping become Pastor of our church. It is fitting that the final steps of my collegiate journey will be through Emmanuel College. My family and I are excited to see what the future holds!”
