EC Hosts Successful Blood Drive!
On Friday, October 30, Emmanuel College hosted a blood drive on campus through Blood Connection.
The team saw a total of 48 students and completed 43 units. Because of their donations, a total of 129 lives could be positively impacted.
With the exception of one donor, all donations came from members of the Emmanuel student body. Several students preregistered for blood drive, however they also saw several walk-ins.
EC Serve Coordinator, Bob McConnell could not have been more pleased with the turnout.
” With the pandemic, our students felt that giving blood was something meaningful that they could do to make a difference during this crisis,” he said. “The Emmanuel College family is involved in the community and we are willing to do our part to serve others in Jesus’ name.”
