The Mathematics Minor at Emmanuel University provides students with a strong foundation in mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical thinking. Designed to complement a variety of majors, this minor helps students develop valuable skills that apply across fields such as education, business, science, technology, data analysis, and research.
Through coursework in calculus, algebra, and higher-level mathematics, students gain the tools to approach complex challenges with precision, logic, and confidence.

Admission Requirements
Students pursuing a Mathematics Minor must:
-Complete MA 174 – Pre-Calculus with a grade of C or higher.
-Work with the Mathematics faculty and their major advisor for guidance and registration planning.

Program Requirements
To earn the Mathematics Minor, students must:

Complete all requirements for their bachelor’s degree.
Complete 20 credit hours of Mathematics coursework.
Earn a grade of C or higher in each required course.
Complete additional coursework if more than two courses are shared between the student’s major and minor.
Receive approval for any course substitutions through the University’s Course Substitution/Waiver process.
